I bought this card for the Wii instead of the much more expensive Wii card that does the same thing. Works like a charm.

SanDisk 2 GB Class 2 SD Flash Memory Card SDSDB-2048-A11 1.0 Will the real Amazon.com please stand up? 5 out of 8 find the review helpful 3/13/2009 - by W. Shipe at Amazon

Ordered a Sandisk 2.0gb memory card that was advertised for $2.85. On order confirmation, item was billed at $7.35. Upon inquiry was told by Amazon.com that the item was offered by "Straight Trading Inc. and is fulfilled by Amazon.com". Item was advertised as "ships from and sold by Amazon.com." Customer service further advised that "sellers on our website will create their own listings and they are allowed to sell items at any price they feel is fair." So is the Amazon.com that is selling this item Amazon.com or Straight Trading Inc.? Sounds like a bait and switch operation to me.

SanDisk 2 GB Class 2 SD Flash Memory Card SDSDB-2048-A11 5.0 Cheap 2 G SanDisk 2 out of 2 find the review helpful 6/19/2008 - by M. Doell at Amazon

We recently purchased a Canon Powershot SD750 (awesome point and shoot)and it comes with a SD card with as much memory as Sugar Ray Robinson so we needed a larger card. I purchased this 2.0 GB SanDisk card for so little I was sure it was going to show up with a name like "SaMDisk" instead of SanDisk and melt my new camera when I put it in. Not true. We've been using it for a month or so everyday and it works great. It does it's job which is to store a mass amount of images and not alter the quality - which it does beautifully. No complaints here, except that I was hoping that there would be one coded image already on the card which, if deciphered, would guide me to the crystal skull.

I purchased this item to use with my Digital Camera, Computer, and Nintendo Wii. In all cases it works perfectly. It's very inexpensive and the write speed has no noticeable delay when taking high-quality photos with my 12.1MP Camera. This card works with Nintendo Wii as posted on SanDisk's Homepage.

SanDisk 2 GB Class 2 SD Flash Memory Card SDSDB-2048-A11 5.0 Go BIG! 1 out of 1 find the review helpful 4/21/2008 - by Ross Dean at Amazon

I didn't intend on taking a lot of pictures so I thought to get the 512 or 1 GB card. But then a friend said that a movie takes up a lot of room and so I got the 2 GB card. For only a few dollars extra it's worth it. Then you never have to be concerned over not having enough space, and, the San Disk brand has never done me wrong.

SanDisk 2 GB Class 2 SD Flash Memory Card SDSDB-2048-A11 1.0 Beware of Sandisk 1 out of 1 find the review helpful 4/19/2008 - by Old Timer at Amazon
Pros:

Cons:

I recently read an article of counterfeit items coming through a variety of channels. I have a bunch of Sandisk memory devices and I found three out of the 8 were counterfeit, including one very expensive CF card.

Sandisk might be a fine manufacturer and getting a bad rap because of the counterfeit items.

But as a buyer you've got to ask yourself two questions:
1. If some of these have even come through Amazon, which is a very reputable company in my opinion, what's my risk in buying a Sandisk device? This is particularly true when you can buy an equivalent Kingston device for less.
2. What is Sandisk doing to go after the counterfeit market? When this problem happened to Microsoft they clearly went after the perpetrators, let everyone know what was happening so they could better avoid the problems, and creatively came up with solutions to help fix the problem. I've got the strong feeling that Sandisk would rather hide the problem after talking with their support.

This SD card came in the mail on time and the packaging was in perfect condition. Totally worth it. I went to europe and I was able to hold over 500 8 mega pixel images on it and still had more room.

SanDisk 2 GB Class 2 SD Flash Memory Card SDSDB-2048-A11 5.0 Works great for Nintendo Wii! 1 out of 1 find the review helpful 2/16/2009 - by The18thLetter at Amazon
Pros:

Cons:

This product is great and works as advertised. I use it for game storage on my Wii. The Wii recognized it instantly and I've never had an issue with it.

As for the 2GB size limit, I would NOT advise to try and get the 4GB high density cards, as your Wii will not recognize them without some level of hacking to the cards. That said, there's also no reason to hack a 4GB high density card to get it to work on your Wii. The space needed to save Wii games on your cards would probably never fill up a 2GB card. I have two 2GB cards and the second one has not been touched yet.

Hope tis review helps.

Great deal on the card. However, my older Toshiba laptop did not recognize it, I had to buy a external card reader and it's all sorted now.
